Known to some as the birthplace of the Space Shuttle program, and to some as the Windy City of the West, Lancaster has seen momentous changes in the past five years. More than $10 million of public and private funding has been spent revitalizing Downtown Lancaster, restoring its reputation as a thriving hub of business and entertainment.

The new Museum of Art and History houses special collections of artifacts that feature the rich historical and cultural history of the Antelope Valley.

The Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix in September is an exciting weekend of professional and amateur go-cart racing. The only street race of its kind west of the Mississippi River!
