About
The following section will give you a glimpse of some of the projects I've worked on during this semester. There were a total of 8, with various tasks and subject material to work on.
These projects were all in the book, "Adobe Dreamweaver, 2020 Release: The Profession Portfolio"
The student files were provided courtesy of the instructor, projects were graded and then returned with any needed corrections.
Just a person with ideas & a little creativity at times.
This project focused on creating, exporting, and removing site definitions in Dreamweaver; moving files around in a site root folder; creating relative links between pages in a site; defining absolute links to external sites and email addresses; improving search engine optimization (SEO) with file names and titles; and cloaking site files from a web server.
This project focused on adding text from external sources; working in both Design and Code views to add semantically appropriate HTML tags; organizing content with appropriate heading tags; properly formatting block quotes and citations; adding special characters that work in HTML code; creating lists and tables within text-based content; and attaching a CSS file to new pages.
This project focused on using various methods to add static images to a web page; assigning alt tags to images for improved usability; manipulating images in a web page; extracting content and styles from a native Photoshop file; and working with CSS to define various element properties.
This project focused on creating and linking an external CSS file; understanding the CSS box model; creating a layout with HTML elements; working with templates to improve workflow and maintain consistency.
This project focused on working with CSS classes; manually editing CSS code; making an editable attribute in a template; working with the float and clear properties; creating an iframe element; and creating and formatting form fields.
This project focused on creating a mobile-friendly site structure; creating and managing a jQuery user-interface object; and defining a JavaScript Lightbox image gallery.
This project focused on creating a Bootstrap page, defining a responsive page grid, working with responsive page content, using CSS to control responsive page content, restricting element height and overflow, and using the CSS Transitions panel.
This project focused on CSS GRid Responsive Pages. In it, we learned to define a responsive CSS grid element; used media queries to change the grid based on display size; added web fonts to display page content with specific fonts; placed video into the page without the need for a browser plug-in; and used CSS selectors to add aesthetic appeal to page content.
